Future Biter

Ladell and I went to the park yesterday to meet some friends. She is so funny, when she gets near another child she opens her mouth wide as if trying to bite them! Here she is doing it Eva.

New Coat

While we were in MS, Mimi (Aunt Elizabeth) drove up for a visit. She brought Ladell a winter coat. Ladell loves it. I put it on her and she would not stop smiling. It was so cute. Thanks Mimi!

Hattiesburg

We made a trip down to Hattiesburg, MS last weekend to visit. Ladell had a blast! She did not want to sleep for fear of missing out on the fun. She took her first plane ride and did an excellent job. The first picture is of us on the plane, we had the entire last row to ourselves. We are so proud of her and how good of a baby she is. When we got back home on Monday, Ladell could not get enough sleep, she basically slept all day! I know the she cannot wait to go back.

Leap Frog

Last week for playgroup we went to Elizabeth and Samuel's house. Samuel has a Leap Frog play table, it was the hit of the party! Ladell enjoyed the keyboard side. Here are a couple of pictures of the babies playing.

Squash!

Today Ladell had first taste of food. Since she tolerated the rice cereal, I decided to add a little flavor. I was nervous that she would not like the squash because it smelled pretty bad, so I mixed it in with her rice cereal. She loved it! We made a bit of a mess but she cleaned up well and wanted her frog!

Good Hands

Ladell has started to hold her own bottle (with Daddy not Mommy). It is so neat to watch her gain control of her hands. She even loves the way they taste! These days they are always in her mouth.

Getting close to sitting up!

Ladell is almost able to sit up without assistance. She has the head control down, now we just have to get the balance right. Here are some pictures we took today while practicing. The first one is her sitting by herself right at the moment she fell over and the other two I am helping her with my legs. She is proud of herself when she gets to practice!
